USATF Dakotas introduces New Officials Grant to support and encourage new officials.
USATF Dakotas is pleased to introduce the New Officials Grant, designed to support and encourage individuals who are interested in becoming certified track & field officials. This grant aims to reduce financial barriers, strengthen our officials community, and promote the continued growth of our sport across the Dakotas. All new officials will also be paired with a current official in their respected specialties to help mentor you into the best official you can be. Please fill out the online form by January 31st, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements:
Complete USATF official requirements working with the USATF Dakotas certification chair.
Must work two USATF Dakotas track meets during the 2026 season.
Must submit receipts to be reimbursed after the 2nd meet worked. Then payment will be processed. (1-year USATF membership, Officials dues, and SafeSport fee.)
After the 2nd meet worked you are eligible for the official’s stipend for all other meets worked. ($100 indoor, $75 all-comers, and $100 Championships.
Must reside in North Dakota or South Dakota.
