USATF Dakotas Throws Festival

Entry Cost:

Admission: Free

Eligibility: All ages. Open to non-USATF members and USATF members. It
is not required that participants have current USATF memberships.

Entry: There will be NO DAY OF MEET REGISTRATION. All participants must register online through Athletic.net by the entry deadline.

Schedule of Events: Athletes may participate in the events they preregister
for. Event flights will be seeded with submitted seeds, They will run worst to
best with the last flight being the best. It is the responsibility of the athlete to
report to an event in a timely manner. NO REFUNDS PROVIDED.

The facility will open to athletes 1 hour PRIOR to the start time, not earlier -
no exceptions. Coaches are not allowed to pick up bibs for their athletes only
parents/athletes may do so.

Throws Schedule:
1:00pm Hammer (4 THROWS)
Flight 1 – All Women
Flight 2 – All Men

Discus (4 THROWS) Follows the conclusion of Hammer
Flight 1 – All Women
Flight 2 – All Men

1:00pm Shot Put (4 THROWS)
Flight 1: 8U/9-10/11-12/13-14
Flight 2: 15-16/17-18, Open & Masters

Javelin (4 THROWS) Follows the conclusion of Shotput
Flight 1: 8U/9-10/11-12/13-14
Flight 2: 15-16/17-18, Open & Masters

Implement Inspection: All field event weigh-ins will be done Saturday morning from 10:00-10:45AM by the throwing area. There will be USATF implements available at all the throws.

Awards: We will do awards based on age group, the top 3 athletes in each age group receive awards.

Bib Numbers: All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during
competition and on the front of their jerseys only.
